Exhaltation and Etenal Progression - Through Jesus Christ and His atonement
Each of the following scriptures plainly teach the capability of man to receive what Jesus Christ has received.. thus becoming like him. Thus becoming a "just man made perfect through the atonement of jesus Christ" (Heb 12:23, D&C 76:50-61,69-70
Jesus grew in might and power throughout his life. (He developed and became greater just as all men should) Luke 2:52, D&C 93:13 JST Math 3:24-26
What Glory and Power has he been given? "All power" Math 28:18,John 17:2,Rom 1:16
What Glory and Power does man have the capability to be given. Joint Heir with Jesus Christ - sit on throne as he does.
Rev 3:21,Rom 8:17,Rev 21:7,John 10:34,Gal 4:7,1 John 3:2,Ps 82:6,Math 5:48
Conclusion
Moroni 10:32-33
32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.
The Bible thus also teaches that we should come unto Christ follow in his path, be perfected through him that we may receive a remission of sins and become a "Joint Heir" with him in receiving all that the father hath. It teaches of the importance of the role of Jesus Christ in the plan that God has for us as his children. It teaches that it is through Jesus Christ the redeemer of all mankind that we can be saved, and through no other name, or means. It is a witness that combined with the Book of Mormon that provides evidence to the humble seeker of truth that this has been known from the beginning of time and is a "Truth".
That we may follow this counsel and attain this goal is my prayer. Amen.
